As far as I understand it is mirroring Attack of the Clones with Kylo as a Naboo senator. It seems to be less about politics and more about putting him in costumes similar to Amidala's.

oooh, I've read one where Kylo has Hux and Phasma(?) roleplay as Obi-Wan and Anakin, while he Amidala. Since nobody knows about the link between Amidala/Anakin and Leia or Anakin and Vader being the same Person they just assume he is weird and has a kink for not so recent political history, when he really has them reenacting his OT3 featuring his Grandparents so he can get banged by Lord Vader.
