25 - Wolf's Rain was the first anime series I watched in Japanese with subtitles (and arguably my first anime period, considering my actual first one was the god awful Yu-gi-oh 4Kids dub), and even after watching and reading all these other things, it's still one of the most beautiful anime/manga I've ever watched/read.

63 - Was it, maybe, Encyclopedia Dramatica? (http://www.encyclopediadramatica.com/Death_note#Gallery). I first saw the comparison there, anyways. He seriously looks like an ugly Light cosplayer, though. Whoever came up with it is amazing.

Discovering there are 60 women to 6 men

And that basically nothing gets done but "Man discrimination blows"

(This is not indicative of all GSAs, just mine)

But if you want awesome real life gay icons, try to look outside of pop culture

History may provide you with the role model you want!

It may also depress the fuck out of you, so, uh, this is the essential double edged sword to all of history

Yeah, I know I'm really into gay culture from like 40 or 50 years ago. Or more.

It's cool, but at the same time it sort of sucks. I think that's how it is with most things to do with LGBT matters though. :/
