Reading about the Greeks and the Romans, going, "Yeah, it's not perfect, but it's better than nothing." Getting depressed when Christianity rides in and says, "Hey, hey, no more of that now."

Collecting gay, bi, and queer actors from the 1920s to the 1950s. Finding out about gay silent movies (http://queersilents.com/) and queer coding in early films. Getting all depressed at having to argue with people about at least half of them, mostly the same people who were shocked about Rock Hudson.
