IKR? I think he's bland at best and sort of comical-looking? I mean, I like the character, but that's cause I like the contrast of him trying to be the Big Bad and the looking sort of silly under that mask.

He has a lovely neck, that uniform's collar is just really unfortunate.

Same lol I hardly remembered who he was. He was the generic villain that only existed to give Kylo someone to talk to. I mean by all means, let's hope he's developed more in the next films, but I'm amazed he has a fandom because I don't know what he did to make him memorable. It's not like he's even hot.

He's not bad-looking, but yeah, "generic villain" is the term I'd use, too. I'm almost prone to think a lot of people just have a uniform kink.

I think it's because he's the only bloke around they can (most) logically pair Ren with.

Dredd was where my love for DG began (and I wanted to bundle him up and feed him soup) but I really like his outfit in SW. The fabric looks so touchable and the coat is so pretty. It does feel a little icky since he's a space!Nazi, but it's undeniably good looking.

You're not alone. I did initially start to like him in Anna Karenina, but it exploded after The Force Awakens.

I'm kinda the opposite? Always thought Domnhall was cute but as Hux he's actively unattractive.

Same. The hockey playoff beard he was rocking during press tour for TFA was hot. Hux is not.

I'm still too freaked out by how unrecognizable he is clean-shaven. I spent the whole movie thinking "I know Domhnall Gleeson is in this, but I really don't think he's playing Hux. Maybe he's a CGI character?"

He is quite attractive in this movie. I've never found him attractive before this. But for me I think it is less the uniform (though he does look good in it) and more that I think he looks better with the clean shaven look and now that he's a bit older (He looked a bit youngish for me as Bill Weasley). Although there have been some recent photos of him still clean shaven but with longer hair that look even better. But he does look nice as Hux.

I like him a lot but I think in that scene you used for the secret, he is pretty ugly most of the time (which was basically due to how it was shot and less that he is ugly, because I really don't think he is). But I generally hated the whole space!Nazi approach because it was unoriginal and bland as fuck.

I think he's cute, but he also has one of those faces that just totally escapes me when I try to remember what he looks like. I get that with Ryan Gosling as well. I suppose having an attractive but nondescript face is a good quality for an actor though, helps them disappear into the role and all that...

I thought he was cute a Bill Weasley...but he's nothing out of this world (or galaxy for that matter, hehe).

That coat though...so stylish.

Bonus: did anyone ever watch Blackmirror (the tv series) I believe he's in one of the episodes, and it freaked me out because I couldn't quite remember who he was (and he was good in his role, which also was a bit freaky).

Hux is bland as dirt, but I did find him the only vaguely attractive male in the entire movie (though Finn was endearing). My word, TFA was full of uggos.

Wow! A lot of shallow people in this thread.

All this talk of 'ugly' people, has me wondering if the writers have ever found someone attractive for more than just their looks. To me, personality as well as looks, is a major factor (IRL as well as fandom) in how attractive I found another person (or character).

I personally find Adam Driver attractive. He's not traditionally 'handsome' by any means, but he does have IMO pretty eyes and hair and comes across as shy, intelligent and unassuming. Domhall Gleeson can be quite cheeky in interviews. That's attractive to me. Don't get me started on Oscar Isaac....;P ;P :P

As for Hux, I don't actually find the character attractive (he's a bit one-dimensional, for me) but I ship him with Kylo, to some extent, because I think it would be a crazy, interesting relationship.

I find Kylo's hair hilarious in the context of the movie. He must have had a team of tiny alien stylists living in that helmet.
