1. Not older family members like my parents and aunts and uncles, but then my brother and extended family members added them, as well as some of my friends (who were/are the "add everyone you know!" types), and there was just no point in not adding them anymore.

2. A little? I limit what I post anyway because even with friends' protection, you just never know. But there's a lot of things I've withheld from posting. I used filters for a while, but then I felt like I was whispering. (Although I do have a few filters for specific interests. I think that's fair.)
