Uh, but there are lots of likable characters. I love the women in this show, almost all of them are amazing.

I enjoy the show but, yeah, I've wanted to throttle pretty much all of the characters at least once. They aren't on a Scandal level of unlikable though (Scandal has basically become my point of reference for this kind of thing because I hate 99% of the characters on it and finally stopped watching it because they're so terrible) and I still like/love most of the characters on some level.

Well, pretty much all the characters have done something stupid or unethical or even illegal at some point, but I still like a bunch of them and even the ones I don't like are kind of fascinating to me. I feel like almost everyone on the show has layers and nuances and I feel like I understand why most of them make many of the choices, good and bad, that they do.

However, I will say that you are right about the cases - they are pretty damn interesting.
