I like Voyager, but I can't agree that it was better than TNG. I don't think it was any more or less consistent than any of the other shows, but I find TNG more intriguing and I love the characters, especially as group, way better.

Although, I'm biased a bit because 7 of 9 is my most hate Trek character and one of my most hated fictional characters ever so that really killed a lot of my enjoyment of the show and throws off the group dynamics completely for me, which I need for Trek. The group dynamic is one of the reasons that DS9 is my second least favorite show (thus far).

I know what you mean about 7 of 9. Just...why, Star Trek? Do you have to pander so obviously??

Agreed. The fan service stuff was annoying, but I still enjoyed her character and her arc. I've always enjoyed that sort of "learning what it means to be human" thing in scifi. Data was my favorite TNG character.

Yep. She's my favorite character on the series hands down, even with the spandex suit that Counselor Troi would be jealous of.
