I think the Hunger Games movies did an excellent job taking advantage of not being trapped in Katniss's head the whole time to show off the world. I liked most of the parts from other POVs that were added. Especially the parts showing the people working behind the scenes on the Games. The way they were just casually doing their job as if it was any other mundane job was really effective for me.

This! I really loved that we were able to explore a bit more of what wasn't said in the books.

The Hunger Games movies are some of my favorite adaptations. I still haven't seen Mockingjay - I'm resentful of them making it two freaking movies - but I have great hopes that getting out of her head will make everything more bearable and interesting

Same, I tried to read through the Hunger Games books and couldn't even get anywhere with Catching Fire. I liked the movies a TON though!
