To all the people talking about how awful it would be in public. They were alone on a roof and Ted and Patrice knew it was happening, but weren't there. But a big set-up of a proposal does come with a certain amount of pressure, even if it isn't public, and this one, in particular, where Barney had tricked Robin into thinking he was serious about Patrice, would have made me really angry if it had been done to me.
