I don't know. I would think at least a few immortal characters would keep developing in some way. Their hair still grows and things like that sometimes. I was just thinking about how Stephenie Meyer is very particular about how her vampires are completely biologically frozen.

What you're saying makes sense though.

Wait, so how do they make memories, then? If their brains don't develop because they are biologically frozen, then the hippocampus also wouldn't be able to develop further (it needs to regularly create new neurons) to form memories. Wouldn't they be like people with Alzheimer's then? (Not that I expect you to actually know the answer, but this is now really bothering me.)
