Re: Your date or hang out fails
Okay, a couple silly datefails from me and boyfriend.
I took him out to dinner once. Now, boyfriend takes food EXTREMELY seriously. He and my husband are duking it out for King of the Kitchen. So he goes hellbent on analyzing the food we're ordering, critiquing it the way I critique comics, and he nitpicks the entire meal... and then suddenly looks aghast, looks up at me, and goes, "You don't give a shit about any of this, do you?"
I said, "No, but I enjoy seeing you're passionate about something." Which was true.
I of course, paid back the favor. Bf has a bad shoulder. I offered to rub him down. HE apparently thought I had sexy intentions in mind, but instead I just end up going deep enough that he was actually in a bit of pain, but also didn't want to admit to it because he's butch like that. (And to make matters worse, I didn't really help his shoulder at all. Fail, me.)
