You forget that most middleaged people have children in "the new generation". Also we are a bit sick of being stereotyped as a) uncaring [I give my kids lots of help and advantages my parents didn't or couldn't give me, to help them along] b) personally responsible for the problems faced, so it would be nice if you and those like you could quit doing that.

Or is it only alright to stereotype and condemn and make sweeping generalisations if it's your generation doing it?
