Me too. I *have* an account but I stopped using it because the "we're going to force you to log in" thing was so annoying. Same with Wattpad.

I have no problem shunning it though. There's like an infinite amount of cool material on the internet, so I've never been forced to slum it on Pinterest after turning my back on them.

I hate seeing a link only to run into the wall that is Pinterest. I'm not signing up for anything just to look at pictures when there are so many other platforms available to put stuff out there. Also, I hear people on it aren't very good at keeping info on the original sources with the pics they pin, which is frustrating both for the person who made the cake or took the photo or whatever, and for the person looking for more info and not just a pretty picture.

Why, yes, I'd love to read that recipe that has a nifty workaround for my food allergy, but no, I have no desire to join a site that's being such a pain in the ass about shunning the nonmembers. Either show me the content, or completely block it to anyone who's not logged in, don't pull this image tease crap.

I love Pinterest. I love how little talking there is on Pinterest. I love that there's practically zero etiquette involved. I stay logged in all the time, so I've never had an issue.

I used to adore Pinterest, and I do think the site has some good stuff, but it bugs me that you have to log in to view any of it. Frankly, I have an account (that I used a lot, years back), I'm just too lazy to reset my password and log into it.

That site is kind of a mess to me. It's too compulsive and disorganized for the type of content that is the trend there, I guess? Like "Planning a theme party? Have a random collage of bullshit and one cocktail that sounds gross."

I hated it too. I used tio block their pop-up in a script editor. Last week I bit the bullet and signed up. And I like it much better then Tumblr for searching for images. I'm conflicted now - still anoyed at the site while finding it quite useful.

My frustration with this damn website is that you can't use -blank to get rid of certain things you want out of your search, like you can with like, Etsy or Google or something. It is so unintuitive!

Ugh, I hate that about Pinterest. I don't want to sign up because I suspect it'd be a giant timesuck, but it annoys me that I can't even glance at links without them popping up the stupid log in. It doesn't work, I'm not signing up for your shitty site! What annoys me even more is how awful people are about sourcing images, which is the only reason why I visit Pinterest in the first place.

Not using Facebook, that's hard! Ha! Top that. Talk about wanting you to sign in to see something. Eh, I'm still resisting because I just don't like Facebook. I've tried it; I know I don't like it.

Pinterest, once you have an account, is like 1000 times easier than Facebook. And if you don't want an account, it's very easy to just not get one and not go there.

You know who likes Pinterest? Lots of older women. So yeah, let's shit on another image-heavy site that women like, cuz y'all are SOOO special ya gotta shit on everything.

I'm mostly annoyed that Pinterest stuff shows up in google picture search now (it wasn't always that way, right?), cause I don't have an account, so I can't look at the picture I clicked on and it always tries to make you sign up. Like, I can't even check out the site to decicde if I might want one, cause I can't see a freaking thing. That's the reason why I have basically no knowledge of that site.

This week I did a Google image search for a piece I've seen on DeviantART. I know the piece; I follow the artist; I don't use Pinterest; this shouldn't be hard. The image comes up, and it's a link to Pinterest; I clicked on it before I realised. Very aggravating. Why would you even? Does Google own a piece of that stupid site?
