Tattoos are personal. They belong to your body, and to you. They can be anything. One of mine is a semi colon, of all things.

If you want it to be part of your body, it's right. That's the whole answer.

What REALLY matters is that you wait/splurge for someone REPUTABLE. Look at their work online extensively. Request specific artists if you want. Read Yelp reviews. Your artist should talk with you a lot about what you want and how you want it, and be receptive and honest. They should be willing to experiment with that they feel they can do and what you want until you have something you DEFINITELY want on your body.

Hell, I was halfway through getting my 4th and said, "hey, wanna maybe only do this part and not this other part?" and the guy rolled with it. And TAKE CARE OF IT!!! Good luck, anon!!
