Re: Casual/intense fan awkwardness

- Not so much anymore, but when the Harry Potter books were coming out, no one except the big fans ever knew half the characters. Including Sirius - no one who wasn't a big fan even seemed to care that much about Sirius. It was to the point where I just automatically simplified all HP conversations to the trio.

- Conversely, I've had huge Star Wars fan talk about the Expanded Universe to me. I never know what they're talking about.
