When I met Lin-Manuel Miranda, instead of saying *whatever* the fuck I thought I would say, I said, with tears in my eyes, "You're my hero?" and he said "it's nice to meet you."

It was 9 degrees and I was very cold and overwhelmed and it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me

Awwwww. I'm glad he was so cool and nice about it :).

This would be me, too, if I met my favorite celebrities :p. I'd just babble out "I love your work!" or something like that.

I met an author I really liked once, and all i could say was hi. I didn't say how much I liked his books, or poetry, or how much I agreed with his talk before the signing, nah. Just hi, and smile awkwardly, like some fool. -___- My best friend was a lot better at than me. I still feel like an idiot.
