I'm a lesbian and honestly, what's the purpose of "reclaiming" it? I think it's a fun word in gay porn, and sort of tongue-in-cheek, fine. But someone who tries to "reclaim" it just sounds like they're trying too hard, tbh.

Anyway, to me, it depends. I might be a little annoyed if a bi person in a heterosexual relationship insists on using it (I mean, calling other queer people that) because they aren't currently in a position where they are facing oppression for their relationship. But hey, that's up to them. I mostly think they'll sound dumb using it no matter what their orientation is.

Bi people in straight relationships can still face oppression (even if it isn't necessarily specifically directed toward their current relationship).
