Tbis has apparently become an unpopular opinion, but I legit believe gender is social-construct bullshit. If you're brain doesn't match your body, that's a problem with your sex. Anything else is just subscribing to what "society" says men and women should be.

And that will never change until daring people break the mold.

Don't worry, with the plethora of genders these days and the non-binary and what have you, this is all slowly moving in tacit agreement of your overall point. "Non-comforming" implies that there is something to "conform" to, and to conform is a purposeful act one takes, not something one has or does naturally.

I think biological sex exists obviously, and I'm willing to take that maybe there could be some weak correlations that correspond to men and women very loosely speaking. But basically everything "masculine" or "feminine" is just a decision that a particular society decided they should be. I don't think being a man or being a woman actually means anything beyond sex unless it personally means something to you (as in, people who have active gender identities, whether they are trans or not). I don't think there's any criteria for gender beyond your own identity.

Exactly! Gender is helpful if you want to talk generalities. As an identity? GTFO.

If that were true then there would be no effeminate trans men or butch trans women.

Which, in case you didn't know, there are.

No. There would still be. Because that's just a style that has no reason to be tied to a sex. Being "butch" or "femme" does not mean somebody isn't a particular sex. Butch girls are still girls. Butch trans girls are still trans girls. Ditto for femme men/trans men.

if you're OP you should consider that your statement looks mighty transphobic for someone who supposedly supports trans men and women
