I realized today that I laugh in conversation with people, for their benefit and not mine. I dunno, it just kind of clicked - he said something, I found it amusing, and then it was like my brain went "quick, laugh". And then I felt guilty, because it didn't feel genuine. But it occurred to me that that's pretty much how I always react. I think I'm a robot.

No, that's pretty much expected socially. If you don't laugh, then OMG UR SO RUDE.
