omg sounds so yummy good luck!! my tips are to make dipping chocolate to go with it and also don't get boiling oil all over yourself

Good luck and enjoy, I've never tried churros. I sort of stick to baking really.

don't use powdered sugar (if you're using sugar to sweeten them after), but regular granulated sugar. the stuff you put in coffee.

Make sure your oil has come back to temperature after you take out each batch. This is much more of an issue for denser things (fried chicken), but it's just good to keep in mind while frying anything.

Also, for filling a pastry bag, position it tip-down in a tall glass or small vase and fold the top of the bag over the rim of the glass. It stabilizes the bag.
