It happens like that sometimes. I listened to Jeff Buckley's Grace exactly once before he died and didn't connect with it at all, then picked it up again randomly months later and became a big fan. I was really sad about David Bowie as an 80s kid with lots of memories of Labyrinth and early MTV and his whole influence on the era, but him dying also made me realize how much of his work I'd missed out on. Seems like dying always gets you new fans, or even more fannish fans, so that's good? lol
