Re: What have you read recently
(Anonymous) 2016-05-01 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)To be honest, the writing is kind of bad, lots of telling instead of showing, the character development is lacking and some of her ideas are kind of lame. But I'm also really enjoying it- when it's good, it's really interesting. It's basically a magical-girl type story with mermaids.
It's probably aimed at young teenagers, so I'm about twice the intended demographic, but even though it's kind of bad, I'm enjoying it and awaiting the fourth and final book in a few weeks.
