Tarzan is one of my favorites, too. Heck, I don't even mind Terk and Tantor, as far as comic relief sidekicks go, they weren't the worst. Plus, the way Clayton bit the dust was pretty brutal as far as deaths in a Disney movie go.

I think it's a pretty solid film, overall. Not without flaws, sure, but it really deserves more recognition than it gets.

(And I'm a huge fan of Phil Collins, so I might be biased as far as the soundtrack goes)

My only big criticism is probably how it's been shown that Sabor is a threat to the jungle but they take him out relatively quicky in the run time.

Probably to avoid Jungle Book parallels, I almost typed Shere Khan there.

It definitely has one of my favorite soundtracks! Disney's music always seems to be at its best when they're trying to evoke some particular genre/"theme" into every part of the soundtrack.
