I never got the frothing hate over it either, it's not the greatest movie ever but it wasn't awful either, just fun. But the internet pretty much has a permanent hate-boner for anything that gets popular.

Shit like that pisses me off. I tend to like a lot of "popular" game fandoms and all I see online is hate for those fandoms. If I had a dollar for every time I've seen someone use the word "autistic," "cancer," or "retarded" in relation to one of my fandoms, I could probably afford to buy the rights to the series myself.

Why do people have to be so immature over little things like this? Let people enjoy what they like if it isn't hurting someone.

I don't know man. There's plenty of popular stuff I don't care for but I just ignore it and let the people who like it have their fun. So long as they're not trying to push it in my face I don't care.

Just like, give me the same courtesy?
