I'm looking for some generic m/m prompts because I want to write some fic, but all the prompt blogs on tumblr are exactly the same boring ideas over and over. Just give me your dreamiest, steamiest, smuttiest scenario of a fanfic you'd give an arm and a leg to read about your m/m OTP.

"Straight" Character A just had a bad break-up and gets taken clubbing by gay bff B to take his mind off it. With both f them buzzed, A comes onto B. Then there's bathroom sex.

I'd read this.

The only smutty scenarios I can think of are sadly funny ones instead of sexy ones.

- 1 and 2 sexily meet up somewhere meant for sexy hookups and are instantly attracted. Both are nailing their flirting game, sparks are flying, the dramatic tension is hitting a peak, and they fumble their way into finally getting a metaphorical room. Only to find out they were both total virgins expecting the other to be the one taking the experienced sexy lead and neither have any idea what to do. Just because they can get someone to bed doesn't mean they know what to actually do when they get there. What now

- 1 and 2 are porn stars in your typical porn star fandom au. They've been having sex with each other for so long in so many strange and kinky ways on screen that they're completely bored with each other in bed. They are struggling to maintain their relationship because they've both been everywhere and done everything and a billion people have watched them do it. A sex therapist recommends they try romance and intimacy instead. What are those

- His Royal Highness 1 is a tragically beautiful prince of some sort desperately avoiding an arranged marriage who gets kidnapped by marauding enemies or something and taken captive for Mr. Sexy Warlord 2 who has a reputation for taking captives as totally sexy sex slaves or whatever. His Royal Highness 1 spends a week on the trip coming to terms with the fact that he's gay and maybe kind of attracted to the thought of Mr. Sexy Warlord 2 and perhaps this is better than arranged marriages to someone he's not even attracted to anyway and is prepared to accept his sexy, dub-con, ravishment fantasy fate by the time he's dumped in front of Mr. Sexy Warlord 2 only to find out that all the sexy harem rumors were false and he's going to be your average political prisoner bargaining chip who is treated fairly decently but distantly and definitely not had sex with. The only part about the rumors that was true is that Mr. Sexy Warlord 2 is really, really sexy. Fuck

I've heard of that story but didn't think it was humor. Is it? I might give it a read if it is.

It's so not humor, but VERY SERIOUS harlequin stuff. :/

I tried reading the first chapter, it sounded like it was playing tropes straight, not laughing at the notion, so I quit reading.

I was suggesting the humor version with lots of hilarious sexual frustration.

If it had been more tongue-in-cheek it could have been genius.

Things would have been a lot goddamned easier if the warlord been exactly what everyone said he'd be. 1 had been just about ready to accept his fate as the newest sexy addition to the harem with the full abandonment of his responsibilities and everything, which would of course have been totally unwelcome and not a huge burden off his shoulders, and then this.

1 let out a frustrated sigh, gazing distantly out across the fields which happened to be in the opposite direction of the warlord with his muscles and his shoulders and his arms and sexy tattoos and all of that.

"Something wrong?" 2 asked in his stupidly rich and deep voice which was very sexy and warm with infuriatingly impersonal concern.

"No," 1 snapped, "I've only been kidnapped and stuck here for 10 days now, my parents think I'm being tortured, and your food is horrible."

"Sorry about that. Politics," said the warlord easily, and went back to examining his maps. "We're thinking of asking for the the area bordering the river. There's some good farmland there - "

"What," squawked 1, offended enough to forget to not look for a second. "That's it?"

"Think you're worth more?" 1 and 2's eyes meet, and 1 feels himself flush as 2 looks him up and down in the wrong way, god damn it! Then 2 smiles and it's nice and 1 is pretty sure he's fucked in all the ways he didn't want to be. "Good to know. What do you think a fair trade would be?"

God damn it, he wasn't supposed to be smart, too -

Not sure if this is your style (it's certainly not mine), but I saw an anon on /d/ the other day who really wanted something where a woman forced two straight men to have sex with each other. If nothing else, it's different than what you'd normally see.

I love scenarios that put two seemingly straight guys together, but the rape aspect in the above turns me off.

On that tangent, I have thought of ways to rub Alexander and Bill Skarsgård together like two Ken dolls, but I haven't got a clue to how in any kind of plausible (un-rapey) way.

Aren't they related? What if they find out they're not really blood relatives and then all the sexy feelings they'd been forcing themselves to ignore are Ok.

Uh, thanks but their relation is a huge part of the point. I was thinking more of getting them sloshed, but that's still in the rape ditch.
