Yes it is. This is the "My weekend sucks" thread, keep this to why your weekend is sucking and go to the other weekend threads (the general stuff, or the good things thread, for other matters) tell us all why.

My weekend sucks because I have to start a new medication regime which means mood swings and painkiller withdrawals for the next couple of days so my system can be reasonably clean for the new poisons they fill me full of on Monday. And Monday will suck because my illness is serious enough they can't give me the full two week detox before new meds, so I'll be suffering low level medication complications in the crossovers.

That and the recent elections had particularly sucky results here. A lot of split votes letting the creepers in the backdoor. But mainly the pain, the withdrawals, the puking, the moodswings and the oncoming sense of dread of next week. Yay me.

I've had constant suicidal ideation for the last week to the point that every thought I have ends with 'I should kill myself', so I'm pretty certain my weekend is going to suck.

Trying to keep yourself busy helps my sister when she gets the same way. I hope you can find something that helps you.

For the secon month in a row, my period is a week early and I'm in huge amounts of pain and misery. (It's also fucking annoying.)

Ugh. That is the worst. I've had spotting from my birth control for like 3 weeks now. I can't imagine having a full blown period unexpectedly early. What do you usually do you deal with the pain?

Ugh, that sounds like it's sucks, too.

It's so fucking annoying because it's been pretty regular for the last years and I haven't actually changed anything in my lifestyle. Last month it was exactly on the day before my birthday and we had a little hike planned for that day. Needless to say I didn't have the best time.
I usually take some anti-period-cramp-painkillers when it's really bad but I don't like taking too many painkillers so I just try to work with heat and stuff when possible and just endure.
And the weather is so nice and I wanted to get some stuff done but now I'm just wallowing in pain and self-pity, I guess.

My weekend doesn't really suck yet, but I'm waiting so hard for my beta to answer my latest request so I can move on with my surprisingly long Wincest fic that I don't know where came from really. If she could just answer me soon...

Is she normally slow on replies?

No, but she has a life and it's a weekend, so.

Gonna have to work Sunday. 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. Doesn't seem like much, but when it's really warm out and you have to work and unload hot, stuffy freight containers....yeah it sucks.

I can't complain too much, though. I did volunteer and I'm gonna be getting time and a half. But still.

Ugh. Unloading pallets sucks. We have been getting a lot of shipments in at my work and by the time each freight shipment is done, I am dead on my feet.

My weekend sucks because I've had a migraine for three days now. I've been completely unproductive. And it is showing no signs of letting up. I've slept all day, I'm currently high on painkillers and yet my head is still throbbing.

Also, my surgery is exactly one week from today, and I'm terrified.

That sucks. I had a migraine for a week one time and had to get shots to make it go away.

I can't remember what surgery you are getting but I hope it goes well.

Yep. My end-of-week has already sucked, so I'm sure the weekend is just going to get even worse.

•Wednesday I went up to Santa Barbara and hung out with some friends for May The Fourth fun times. We watched The Force Awakens and made Star Wars cookies. I stayed the night and we played Lords of Waterdeep Thursday morning. This was awesome. Then I got on the train back home to LA, and got stuck for 2 and half hours. The train lost power several times, including lights (as the sun set) and AC (so it got really stinky) and registers in the cafe (okay I did have cash). Eventually my train had another whole locomotive delivered to it, and I arrived home 5 hours after I left. I could have hung out with my friends more, taken a train from SB 3 hours after my chosen one, and gotten home faster.

•The Angels' best pitcher, Garrett Richards, has torn his UCL and needs Tommy John surgery and will be out 12-18 months or more. We started the season with 8 starting pitchers fighting for 5 spots (although 2 were always going to start the year on the DL), literally the only area of depth. And now have 2 competent starters left in Santiago and Tropeano, 2 watch-through-your-fingers starters in Weaver and Shoemaker, and nothing else. And no prospects. This is going to make my weekend suck because I hang out in baseball fandom places and it's going to be hell with the vultures hovering over the remaining Angels, let alone the inevitable "trade Trout" comments. URGH.

•Most disappointingly, I was expecting my sister, brother-in-law, and niece to come down for my sister's birthday/Mother's Day but she is very sick and pregnant so that's getting postponed. So that makes her weekend suck and also mine because I was so excited about getting everything ready and seeing them.

It's raining here, which of course we need, but it certainly matches my mood. I've had such an awful 24 hours, it can only get worse.

Has the Angels team been cursed? That seems like a high number of problems.

Hopefully your sister and her family can reschedule soon.

I have chores to do, social outings I'm too tired/stressed to want to go to, some work-at-home to do because deadlines (tm) and I'm dreading the dog's obedience class because I'm either going over the trainer's head to the lead trainer or I'm going to have to put my foot down and butt heads.

Blah.

My sister died last week. So I get to take care of mom while dad tries to settle her affairs.

I really want to go to regionals tomorrow but I don't know if I can because slightly sick (but probably contagious so I'd feel guilty about it), and because money, and the person I was depending on to carpool with me backed out (for somewhat good reasons but still), and also I don't want to stay up too late bc Mother's Day, and I also don't really have a good deck to play, too poor to buy a lot of good cards and have been too distracted with RL bullshit the last few days to try to secure a deck for borrowing

but I really really really really want to go :( and I've been so depressed and I don't want to spend all day holed up in my apartment. I want to get out and play games and see peopleeeeee

My weekend is going to suck because I have to study for two cumulative finals. This is my last week of undergraduate, and the final push is a lot harder than I thought it would be.

This weekend is going to be day fourteen and fifteen (fifteen and sixteen possibly? I've lost count) working. Including just coming off seven days nights.

Slowly losing sense of time and place.
