Since I started on Red/Blue as a kid, I definitely had "images" of what the Pokemon looked like and as the art evolved, it didn't always fit my image and that's what bugs me. Some things the art just ended up changing.

Like Kakuna looked cooler with its claws sticking out. I liked Ivysaur kinda standing up. Meowth NOT standing on its hind legs. And fat Pikachu!

And then some of the newer models just don't look as cute as I hoped. Like Rattata, I thought they'd make it look cuter but something about it just seems kind of off.
