I didn't even think it was confirmed - just suggested. It could have gone either way. And while it's cute, I'm not hung up on this ship in particular. I never even thought about it until they started interacting on the meteor, in a timeline that turned out to not be the alpha one anyway.

Of course having rival ships always messes with it too, and I loved Dave/Terezi, which was one of the ships AH purposefully set up and sunk. :/ Ironically, I also really liked the idea of Karkat/Terezi.

All that said, I do like the fact that none of the ships were really canon in the end, except RoseMary. (And I've been shipping those two for a very long time.)

It was confirmed canon but it was confirmed a numerous times outside the comic by Hussie and his friends.

Although one can argue about it's status as endgame.

Ah ok. I haven't actually read any of Hussie's blog posts or announcements in...years, I think. I should probably do that!
