I'm done with America, at least for the next decade or so. I don't know when I'll leave yet, but I need a change of scenery and a change of politics. You know it's not like you can just knock on a country's door and say "let me in, please", right? A lot of country's have not just work and sponsor requirements but language and civil ones, too.

It's not easy to emigrate for any meaningful length of time.

Well, actually, that's exactly what it's like in Germany and Sweden right now.

Sweden allows abortion up to 21 weeks, but Germany is more restrictive. It allows abortion-on-demand up to the 12th week, after that you need a doctor's note.

I read it. A couple of thoughts:

1) If fetuses do not feel pain until the 27th week, does that mean premature infants do not feel pain if they are born before that point?

2) General anesthesia already takes care of this problem.

I don't know about 26th or 27th, but babies born at or before the 23rd week are nicknamed Cletus the Fetus by medical staff. They're not exactly prepared for the outside world.
