Silly you, expecting people to grasp that concept applied to history when they can't even grasp modernized adaptations of freakin' Sherlock Holmes.

That really is a tougher concept for some people than I ever would have expected. I remember when my mom started watching Elementary and kept wondering if Sherlock was insane and why everyone was playing along with him.
