I learned about the musical's existence through tumblr. For the most part I just scrolled past, but then my friend who I respect a lot, messaged me, and told me to check out this new thing. Even though I don't listen to rap.

I downloaded the album and was floored. I am a musical theatre snob, and felt that it was something exciting. I sincerely would have never known of this if it wasn't for tumblr.

Oh and for clarity's sake: I'm 28, a vet tech and mainly use tumblr as a way to unwind at the end of the day. My friend is 26, and a music producer in LA.

Good for you, I guess. I listened to the first two tracks off Youtube and it's the absolute worst thing I've ever heard. I'm not a theatre snob by any means, but this is just...fucking terrible. I wish I wouldn't have known about it because that's ten minutes of my life I will never get back.

It's not terrible, it's just not as good as anyone thinks it is in the sense that it's not a masterpiece.
