So I'm guessing you've never actually listened to the musical? You missed the rap battle where Hamilton calls out Jefferson for being a slave owner? There is nothing about this musical that excuses slavery. Completely the opposite.

Hamilton didn't do jack shit about slavery in real life though! All of the founding fathers claimed to be anti-slavery but wouldn't actually give up their slaves! The only one who did was Washington, and he only freed one!
