I get what you're saying but I don't think Mulan ever couldn't recognize her reflection, she just didn't know who she was. She may or may not have felt comfortable in all that makeup but I don't think there was ever a sense that she felt uncomfortable in her body, just generic "Who am I?" hero crap. but hey, to each their own.

Aside from one mtf tumblr user making an argument for Jasmine being a transwoman (which was way more tenuous than this) ...there's not a lot out there for us in Disneyland.

Mulan's sentiment touches a lot of trans* people. It's okay to not get it, but it's a real thing.
