they should've ended the series after L's death, everything became crap after that... it would have been a bleak, unjust ending but it would've been a million times better than what we got

I would have been happy if L had died, then you find out he had some sort of plot in place that helped idk Matsuda bring down Light, Light dies, the end. Wrapup in 2 chapters.

But even your version would have been better.

You should check out the live action movies then. They're far from perfect but I do love the movie ending so much better that the original one.
