What should I watch?

[personal profile] kaijinscendre 2016-05-15 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
I really need a movie or TV show to watch. I have access to Netflix and Amazon Prime. I'd like to watch a horror movie without a lot of gore (I've seen most though) or a thriller.

Some things I have been looking at:
Eyes Wide Shut (I like Tom Cruise)
I Saw The Devil (It has a pretty high star rating on Netflix for me)
Mystic River (I have heard this is good)
In Bruges (keep seeing it, I like Rocknrolla and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang)
Ex Machina (just because)

Shows
Grimm
Boardwalk Empire
Orphan Black

The Awakening - horror without much gore.

I've watched that one, too! It is fantastic (it has the main guy from The Wire!).

You should totally watch A Young Doctor's Notebook. It's basically a miniseries thriller/comedy starring Daniel Radcliffe and Jon Hamm!

Have you seen The Orphanage yet? I think it's available on Amazon Prime. A young family, a run-down orphanage, the adopted son acting strangely. It sounds cliched but it's also a very good movie with minimal gore.

In Bruges is definitely worth watching - especially if you enjoyed Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.
