Security clearances are about 1) determining that you are who you say you are, 2) making sure any ties you have outside the country are benign, 3) finding out about anything illegal you might have done, and 4) finding anything in your background that might make you susceptible to blackmail. So, if you're so embarrassed by whatever you've viewed/done that you could be blackmailed into treason by it, only then are you screwed. If watching porn/reading erotica on the internet was in any way a stumbling block to a high security clearance, there would only be a few people left (and most of those ones would be the type who still get magazines and/or videos).
