John Oliver's show has been filling the Colbert Report void for me. It's not satire in the same way, but it has the same vibe.

Same. Though when John Oliver was filling in for Jon Stewart, I actually preferred John Oliver and thought he was funnier.

I loved when he filled in for Stewart :D. That was when everything with Anthony Weiner and the "Carlos Danger" thing was breaking, and John's take on all of that was hysterical.

I love his HBO show, too. I'm glad that his time filling in for Stewart led to him getting his own series.

I wish he could have taken over the Daily Show, but John's show is really good and I watch the clips on Youtube.

Yeah, I would've liked that, too. I imagine the people at "The Daily Show" were probably kicking themselves a bit over HBO getting to John first when Stewart announced he was leaving :p.
