Phil Collins absolutely broke my heart a few years ago when he did some interview where he talks about falling into depression and was actually suicidal about how he had basically became a punchline. I had known lots of people over the years who seemed to have a profound hatred for the guy, but I had always thought it was incredibly unfair. He was and is an amazing musician. For some dumb reason, it hadn't occurred to me that he, personally, was aware of all this hate. I hope that it's true that he's coming out of retirement. If only because it means that he's in a better place, mental health wise.

So I just recently discovered this and agar.io.

Does anyone else play them?

The controls for slither.io seem to be really wonky: I can use the arrows in order to have access to speed boosts, but it makes controlling direction really clunky and difficult, or I can use the mouse to control direction more finely, but it's not very responsive with the click-to-boost thing. :/

It's fine if you're more entertained by Stephen Colbert the character - I personally am not, I think the gimmick was getting threadbare - but I'm not sure what you mean by saying that we NEED the character. It's not like fake news is going to make a material difference in the conduct of the election cycle. And if you just need snark as a coping mechanism, it's not like that's gone away.
