You're a asshole, anon. It's obvious in your need to write out vocal sounds like "mmm" or the almighty passive aggressive "oh honey" and use of ellipses. But just to offer a counter argument-

1) Bullshit. Why do you think so many damn people hate people like Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj? Many people hate musicians because they have popular songs. It's like how people hate Twilight because it's popular. Yeah the book is bad, but it's not Mein Kampf or My Immortal. And last time anyone checked, there are people out there who hate Queen and Freddie Mercury, especially the homophobes. Adele is talented and well loved, but it doesn't mean that people out there don't hate her caterwauling just because her songs are "good."

2) Yeah okay, but that still doesn't mean people don't hate any aging person that isn't Patrick Stewart or Ian Mckellen. Paul McCartney is very aged and yet people are mocking him like hell and basing his talent off his looks. Even worse with women. Shit happens. Look at Ringo Starr too. Everyone hated him and yet as he got older it's like the hate only increased. Looks make a huge impact, that's why no one takes "old rockers" seriously anymore.

3) Nah, OP has a point. Doesn't matter if Disney has a big fanbase, thousands of people hate the company and it's animated musicals. Even worse if you're associated with the company too. Why do you think no one takes the "My Reflection" song seriously anymore? And a LOT of people hate Elton John not only for his arrogance but for "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." So many jokes were made about that in the 90s-2000s.

4) The biggest mistake of all. You don't know jack shit about South Park or how Matt Stone and Trey Parker work. Everything they do is based on everything they hate. Why do you think Kyle is like the arrogant asshole who knows better than everyone in his town who acts stupid. He's their forced VOR. People always say "you can't be funny if you truly hate something," but that's not the case with SP. They hate just about anything, and because they have a gigantic fanbase of anti-liberal teenage boys, anti-sjws, and yaoi obsessed tween girls, they have the massive power to destroy the image of anything. Why do you think people still make jokes about manbearpig on articles about whenever Al Gore does something or the even more annoying "gayfish" shit with Kanye. He even still talks about how whenever he goes out in public people still make the joke at him! They don't give a shit about "easy comedy." That's an insult on the writer's part because some of what they say is actually smart. They just take advantage of their show as a way to attack people or whatever they hate each week.

Also, FYI, South Park has a massive vendetta against Phil Collins. OP is right. It's the same thing with Samurai Jack. SP lost out to both on an award they weren't likely to win, and they're still bitter about it even to this day in interviews! Just go and listen for yourself. They have all these new awards and yet they're still mad at Genndy Tartakovsky and Phil. Oh and the mormons too, even if it's a playful hate.
