Re: Past lives

I don't believe in it PER SE or believe anyone who claims to have past lives memories.

But my own spiritual take on "reincarnation" is basically FFVII's Lifestream. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only change forms, and like our bodies fall apart and the stuff that made for bodies becomes dirt and plants and separates into new life, I believe if there is any kind of spiritual existence outside of the body, it must do the same. I like the FFVII visual of energy sort of spreading out once someone dies, and joining a greater spiritual body and combining and separating to become trees, animals, people, whatever. It just fits in with what happens to us physically, that that's how I view whatever happens to us spiritually, too.
