Yeah I mean it would make no narrative sense whatsoever for her to die like that (plus she already survived being tossed into a spaceship's reactor core, causing it to explode and crashing the ship... I don't think she'd die from falling into some hole).
It *wouldn't* have made much narrative sense for the CGs to NOT bubble her indefinitely if they'd had the chance, though, I mean, from their in-story POV, Jasper is seen as purely antagonistic and a threat, and there'd be no reason to keep her around like there was with Peridot. And that wouldn't be a very interesting narrative direction to take with Jasper. Plus, there's a whole bunch of other plot threads going on that they really can't leave hanging at the time. Therefore it makes the most narrative sense to get Jasper offscreen away from the CGs for a now, so that she can plausibly return once there's actually room for her in the plot.
