The Foundation series was not my favorite of Asimov's works, honestly, and the writing the accents was a small part of that.

He rarely does, though. Like, as far as I know only Lord Dorwin was ever written funetikally like that at least in the first three novels. Now, granted, in Foundation's Edge, the Hamish dialect is explicitly spelled out, but there's a reason for that.
