I don't like The Lion King. I also didn't care for Mufasa.

Yeah Mufasa was a plot device tbh.

I think it's okay, but I kinda hate when it's treated as though it's inarguably the best Disney and/or animated movie of all time.

The big important scenes like the stampede, opening, etc. are done well but some dialogue and moments just feel really half-assed to me.

I like it but I think it's a massive rip off of Kinda the White Lion. The lack of a lawsuit is atrocious, even given that it might be unwinnable due to Disney's lawyers.

The very first scene had elephants kissing a lion's ass. I was all, "Oh, fuck, I can't take this seriously." Also, it was all about male lions. Excuse me, the female lions do all the hunting.

You must not like any movies where animals stand in for people. Animal behavioral accuracy isn't really the point... But this one does actually point out that the lionesses are the hunters (when the hyenas are complaining to Scar that there's no food, he says it's not his problem because hunting for food is the lioness' job).

I hate this movie too because I've been forced to watch it too many times babysitting, but because I remember it so well I feel like I still have to point out the parts where it's accurate.
