I'm okay with video games getting unlimited sequels, but not movies, comics, books, etc.

While I'd certainly like to see more people who "look like me" in film and television, I also think it's really important to be able to find inspiration from and relate to people who don't, so much so that I think it mostly all evens out in the wash, you know? I'm not going to angry and butthurt about not being perfectly represented.

I don't think asexuals who are exclusively attracted to the opposite gender should be included in the LGBT community. You're a straight person who doesn't have sex, get over yourself (and even then, a lot of heteroromantic or whatever asexuals still have sex anyway!). I used to not think this was a controversial opinion, but apparently a lot of people get super bent out of shape about it

Nothing should have more than one sequel.

Also sequels are cancer and I'm tired of how much intellectual properties get milked.

I really love sequels and remakes and adaptations. Even the bad ones. If I can have MORE of my favorite things I will gladly take whatever I can get.

Except the Ella Enchanted adaptation.

I fear that the LGBT community is going to eat itself alive and continue to pick off groups that don't belong or "don't deserve protection" anymore until only one group is left.

i believe asexuality exists, but you should look into underlying causes first like depression, thyroid issues, ect. first before claiming the label

I think things like demisexuality et al are all valid things, in the sense that I fully believe people feel that way and I don't mind we have a term for it(We have lots of terms we don't need, no one gets judgemental when people say 'schadenfreude'), I just don't think they count as full blown sexualities in and of themselves.

I hate the way people my age talk, sometimes. Not even slang, though some of it gets on my nerves (but I'm not anti-slang in general, and I like some of it). It's more like:

- the way people in YouTube videos (especially people who review things) get super excited and talkreallyfast and sound like they're ranting about everything. I've tried to listen to some of those videos because I was interested in the content, but I couldn't get through the whole thing because the presenter's manner of speaking annoyed me so much. I don't want to feel like I'm being ranted at!

- making small things sound like A. HUGE. DEAL. by writing like they're yelling. Pretty much the written version of what I mentioned above.

- the way people on tumblr have to preface statements with "no, you don't understand" all the time. Annoying.

- turning nouns into verbs and descriptors into nouns. Some of it's funny. Some of it grates.

I don't really feel like "acephobia" is a thing?

I don't doubt that people who are asexual run into problems, but at the same time, I feel like most of the stories I've read aren't "acephobia" but people reacting with misogyny, homophobia, etc.

I think those expensive hipster milkshakes with donuts and other baked stuff on the top are stupid.

Who wants soggy donuts and milkshake with bits of soggy food in it?

Everyone on my facebook seems to really love them. I guess I'm a weirdo for preferring my solids and liquids served separately. It doesn't even matter since I can't even eat that stuff, but I still make a face whenever someone posts a picture of one.

I think there's nothing more important when communicating than being polite, and it drives me up the wall when people who disagree with each other result to namecalling or being patronizing or purposefully pedantic, instead of just having a nice, calm, rational discussion.

When members of an oppressed group criticize a bad behavior by attributing it to the privileged group, they're only trying to free themselves of the possibility that they could ever be guilty of the same behavior.

For a common example, "Stop white people forever from fetishizing Asian cultures" - this lets the non-white, non-Asian people assure themselves that no matter what they might feel or do regarding Asian cultures, it can't be "fetishizing," because they're not a white person who's doing it. That's really what they care about more than preventing a culture from being fetishized.
