It's the texture that gets me too. I literally can't get myself to swallow them. I end up gagging too hard.

They're so mushy and wet but with this weird dry feeling to them like wet sand and I hate even typing this sentence.

I would respectfully suggest that you haven't had them prepared well. Because I totally agree with what you said, but I love peas. Just not when they're like you described them. Consider the possibility that a good new experience may lie ahead of you?

I'm sure there's lots of great ways to prepare peas, but I can't stand the taste either. I won't not try something just because there's peas in it, though, so there's always that.

How do you feel about baked beans? Because if you hate them too, then we are basically twins.

Have you noticed that more and more supermarkets shoving peas into their premade foods? I'm guessing that they must be a cheap filler or good for quickly boosting nutritional content towards govt targets.

it makes the peas taste funny
but it keeps them on my knife.



Okay, I don't really eat mine with honey but I like peas and snow peas. I really don't like them salted though. That's the way my nan has always cooked them so she just thinks I hate peas because I don't eat hers.

This, holy shit. I'll pick them out of whatever food they're in, even if I'm dining somewhere nice where picking at food is frowned upon. They're so mushy and gross and wow I just got the shivers thinking about them. Yuck!
