The 90s had the producers of C+C Music Factory and Black Box recording Martha Wash for a "demo" then using her voice with another performer or fashion model in video or in concert.

This. Pop music is always 90% garbage. Just go look at actual pop charts from those decades. The timeless stuff sticks around and everything else just gets pretty much forgotten.

Yeah you do. It's called YouTube. You can listen to almost any song you want now from the shitty flops in the 80s to unheard swing songs.
