Ohhh I definitely do that sometimes too. My local one has house made Chinese food, the usual chicken/bbq/etc, sushi, and GIANT wraps for around $4.00.

If I'm too lazy I'll get a veggie wrap with provolone and the kitchen sink (carrot, red onion, green pepper, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, sprouts, sport peppers, pickled jalapenos, pickles). Pretty awesome.

It's really genius for a single person because they also have a salad bar and a fruit bar so you can make yourself a salad and fruit salad for one without anything spoiling.

It's perfect so my mom and i get what we want and my dad and brother get what they want and it's so much cheaper than actually going out to eat.

Yeah, I pretty much love it since it's about as cheap as a campus cafeteria with vastly more selection.

I'm really going to miss it haha.

Are you moving or is it closing?

Heading overseas for the next few years.

I can only hope there's something similar where I'm going, but living on the west coast of North America with our particular focus on nutrition in food culture... it'll probably take some getting used to.

Congrats on going overseas, I'm jealous!

But yeah, I know what you mean because I live in such a heavily developed metro area and work at a farmer's market during the summer, I forget that not everyone has the same advantages I do.

I'm in the same position, basically. Halfway between buttfuck rural and city life (there are farmlands aplenty very near to where my childhood house was, but I am currently in an urban location an hour or so from there).

Going from all the produce all the time to something else might mean a diet shift.

Oh diet shifts!! I had a big one when I went to college and then readjusting back to home. Best of luck with that!
