Oh OP, you done made a grave error. You have posted this secret to a comm with me in it, and we spent our youth IN LOVE WITH NOVELTY MUSIC. Especially novelty music from 1958-1970.

I know the fucking music ouevre of ARCH HALL JR. I know Gitarzan, Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, not to mention the stuff David Seville did BEFORE Alvin and the Chipmunks which was EVEN MORE ANNOYING. I know Float On (no, not the Modest Mouse one, the OTHER one), and I know the Cheech and Chong adaptation. I know Allan Sherman and Tom Lehrer and Dr. Demento.

What I'm saying is, I have an encyclopedic memory of really shitty novelty music from that golden era of music, because we had weird fixations as a kid. Those were DARK DAYS, my friend. Dark, terrible days. Especially when Elvis was in the Army and the Beatles hadn't arrived yet.
