(Anonymous) 2016-05-20 03:50 am (UTC)(link)Agreed. There is an immense amount of really incredible music being made out there. But you have to go and search it out. Most of the stuff that you can rely on hearing because the radio forces it on you is not going to be all that great. I'm not saying that NO mainstream popular music is good - just that most of it isn't, so if that's your measuring stick, that's definitely going to lead to a skewed perception of modern music.
