Re: Holiday songs?

"The Holy City" is not, if you listen to the words, really a Christmas song, but it is sung around Christmas a lot.
Here is my favourite performer of it at Christmas Carols:

More often than not he sings the middle verse, which I like, because leaving that out makes it incomplete.

"O Holy Night" has a line in the chorus "Fall on your knees! O hear the angel voices!" that when well-sung, gives me shivers.
Here's a nice version, maybe not quite shivers-inducing, but pleasant:

"Angels We have Heard On High" is another nice one - I love the whole "Gloria" chorus.
Here's the Pentatonix version, which is pretty cool:

Also, their "Little Drummer Boy is great too:

And their "Carol of the Bells":

On that last one, "The Carol of the Bells" is also a really good one, especially done by a good choir.
Here's a version from an interesting source, the :Home Alone soundtrack:

"Do You Hear What I Hear?" is another good one.
Here's another Australian Carols By Candlelight video:

And last, a slightly obscure song from a movie, "The Closing Of The Year", featured in the movie "Toys", staring Robin Williams:
